is no direct metro connection between the city and the airport,
but there are still five easy ways to get from the airport to

Busshuttle
- Vienna Airport Lines |
Vienna
Airport Lines run Buses every 30 minutes from the
airport to the city centre (Schwedenplatz) and the
main railway stations. Travel time is 25 Minutes to
the Sudbahnhof.
A ticket costs € 6.00. VOR tickets are not accepted,
so you have to buy an additional ticket for the metro,
tram or bus once you arrive in Vienna. |

CAT
- City Airport Train |
The
City Airport Train (CAT) has trains every 30 minutes
from the airport non-stop to the city centre (Wien
Mitte). Travel time is 16 Minutes.
A ticket costs € 9.00. CAT does not accept or
issue regular VOR tickets, so you have to buy an additional
ticket to continue your journey on metro, tram or
bus once you arrive in Vienna. |

- Commuter Rail Line |
Commuter
rail line S7 has trains every 30 minutes from the
airport to the city centre (calling at all stations).
Travel time is 24 Minutes to the city centre (Wien
Mitte).
A ticket costs € 3.00 and it will get you from
the airport to any metro, tram or bus station in Vienna,
allowing you to change as often as you have to. If
you already have a 24-hour, 72-hour, Vienna Card or
any other regular VOR ticket, you only need to buy
a € 1.50 supplement. |
